ABOUT

Martina Canales is a Barcelona-born actress working internationally between Spain and the UK.

She began her acting training at the age of seven and later specialised in screen performance at Complot Escénico Academy, where she trained with Esteve Rovira, Miquel Sitjar, Tonucha Vidal and Andrés Cuenca. She further developed her work in English at Frank Stein Studio under Steve Daly.

Her screen credits include the TV3 series Tornarem (dir. Felip Solé, acting coach Laura Jou), as well as independent short films. On stage, she performed in London’s West End production of Jabberwocky with Youth Music Theatre UK, receiving distinction recognition from Trinity College London and completing the 8th Grade Certificate in Musical Theatre — the highest level awarded.

Alongside acting, Martina has extensive training in singing and contemporary movement, with a foundation in jazz and hip hop. She is fluent in Spanish, Catalan and English, with additional proficiency in Italian and French.

Her work moves between film, television and stage, with a particular interest in emotionally layered, contemporary roles.
